Leaving home and spending time in unfamiliar places with people who are different from me is one of the surest ways to spark my creativity. When I sojourn, I try to visually capture the feeling of where I am and who I’m with.

I set my Fujifilm X100T up just like a 35mm film rangefinder. Manual exposure, no image review and a memory card that only held 36 exposures like a roll of film. Each night for a month I posted a contact sheet of the day’s photos.
